Program Steps
Throughout the program our team will work with your utility staff to teach the AWWA M36 methodology, establish a baseline of validated water audit data, and develop an action plan of utility-specific next steps to improve data reliability and reduce losses.

Expert in-person training.
Your team will participate in a 2-day workshop that will introduce key concepts of water auditing and loss control as well as work with your utility specific data to validate your water loss estimations.
Who should attend:
We encourage representation from at least one staff member familiar with supply, billing finance, customer metering, and management.

One-on-one with utility team
Utility-specific data
Confirm AWWA M36 water audit methodology is applied correctly
Identify/adjust any evident inaccuracies
Evaluate practices and policies through data grading
